Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI)

Wise Beans Childcare is an approved provider under the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI), a government funded program that helps reduce the cost of licensed childcare for families in British Columbia.

Through this program, a portion of your monthly childcare fees is covered directly by the government. The reduction is applied automatically once your child is enrolled, and no application is required.

Monthly Fee Reduction (CCFRI Contribution)

The following amounts are paid directly to the centre by CCFRI based on your child’s age group:

Infant and Toddler Program (1 to 3 years): up to $900 per month
Preschool Program (3 to 5 years): up to $545 per month

The exact reduction may vary depending on your child’s enrolment schedule, such as full time or part time.

Final parent fees are calculated after the CCFRI reduction is applied. Please contact us for current rates, availability, and enrolment details.

The Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB)

In addition to the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, families may be eligible for additional support through the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB).

This government program provides monthly funding to help offset childcare costs. The amount families receive is based on factors such as household income, family size, your child’s age, and the type of care.

Families must apply directly through the provincial government, and approval is required to receive funding.

We recommend applying as early as possible to ensure funding is in place when care begins.
